Obituary of Kitty Lou Speller

Speller, Kitty Lou (nee Pardo) – of Chatham passed away on September 2nd, 2016 at Riverview Gardens, Chatham. Born in Chatham 85 years ago, daughter of the late Earl Dean Pardo, and Mary Lucy Pardo-Smyth (nee Green). Predeceased by her step father Sam Smyth and her sisters Marie Todd (formerly Drury), and Marion Hall. Mother of Alexander and wife Randa of Chatham; David and wife Donna of London. Loving grandmother of Angela, Madeline, and Avery Speller. Kitty Lou was a lifelong member of the IODE and held offices at the Local, Provincial and National Chapters, also serving as a Past National War Memorial Officer. She was a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal in 2002. Kitty Lou was also a lifetime member of the Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham at a later date.
