Obituary of Johannes William De Koster

On April 12, 2021 Johannes “John” de Koster passed away in his 77th year at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital. Beloved husband of Janice de Koster. Loving father to Vicki (Doc) and John (Lauren). Opa to Dale (Sam), Kylee and Olivia. Great Opa to Aubrey. Survived by his brother Pieter (Darlene) and sisters Elizabeth and Maryanne (Bill). Remembered by nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his parents Peiter and Cornelia, siblings, Mary Lou and Martin, and brothers in law Case, Ron and Hank. 

John enjoyed woodworking projects, gardening, birds, and his furry friends.  

The family would like to thank the VON Nurse team- Derek, Jennifer, and Jodi for showing John compassion and empathy during his time with them.  Also, Mike and Lorna McLellan for all their help.
