Obituary of Marion Elizabeth Proud
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Marion Proud of St. Thomas in her 86th year on April 24th, 2021, at Caressent Care on Bonnie Place. Predeceased by husband Glen Norwood Proud (1988) and long-time friend Paul St. Cyr (2021). Loving mother of Garr (Bonnie) Proud and Heather Proud. Grandmother to Sara (Nino) Robles, April Proud (Ian Clark), Mike Humphries, Jim (Gina) Humphries, Shane (Jaclyn) Clark, Shannon (Jon) Zylstra and Justin (Shelby) Benwell. Marion will be missed by many great grandchildren. Beloved sister to Gale McMunn.
Marion was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Dora (née Gallagher) McMunn, her brothers Murry McMunn, Keith McMunn, and Clair McMunn, and sisters Audrey Stafford, June Allinotte and Doris Durdle.
In keeping with Marion’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private funeral service at Union Cemetery.
