Obituary of Norma Mabel Jamieson

JAMIESON, Mrs. Norma Mabel of Chatham, passed away at Riverview Gardens, on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. Born in Chatham 86 years ago. Wife of the late Jack Jamieson (2012), Daughter of the late Charles and Frances Bowers. Surviving are her three sons David of Chatham, Peter and wife Veronica of Chatham and Paul of Dover Centre. Four grandchildren Matthew, Michael, Meghan and Geoff. Predeceased by two sisters Ruth and Mary and brother Bus. Our mother was the best mom that any child could ever wish for. She always made our home fun. Our father might have been the electrician but our mom was the electricity. She always had a way to help make our fears and worries smaller and gave us all of her support and encouragement to do our best. She was the best cook and baker ever and she had more than three children when it came to bake days. It is hard to remember any time that our mom was not putting forward her happy face, but we will never forget what we heard when things did not go the right way………RATS. She was married to Jack for 62 years and we were blessed as kids to have Norma and Jack as parents. We will certainly cherish forever all of the fun times and important life time moments that we got to share together. They gave us the most important things in life, the devotion of their time and their love. Norma’s family will be remembering her privately.
