Obituary of Edith Florence Dath

DATH, Mrs. Edith Florence, passed away peacefully Sunday September 27, 2015 at CKHA Public General in her 89th year. Reunited with the love of her life Harold Dath (1988). Treasured and devoted mother of Diane (Roger) of Windsor, David (Betty) of Chatham, Dennis (Jackie) of Chatham and Dan of Windsor. Adored grandmother of Elizabeth (Joe), Katie, Andrew, Christopher and Amanda. Great grandmother of Finn. Dearest sister of Nancy, Freda and Norma. Predeceased by Chester, Hazel, brothers in law Arthur and Jack, and sister in law Helen. Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews. Edith was a long time member of First Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends and relatives Wednesday September 30, 2015 from 7-9 pm at BOWMAN FUNERAL HOME, 4 Victoria Ave (519-352-2390). A funeral service will be held Thursday October 1, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the funeral home. Pastor Mike Maroney officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed to the O.S.P.C.A of Chatham and First Presbyterian Church. Edith's family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Maple City Retirement Home for their care and compassion as well as the doctors and staff on the 2nd and 3rd floor of CKHA.
