Obituary of Marjorie Reeder

REEDER, Mrs. Marjorie, a resident of Chatham passed away Friday, September 25, 2015 at Riverview Gardens in her 90th year. Daughter of the late Joseph and Eleanor Tench. Wife of the late Cecil Reeder. Sister in law of Lois Reid (Bob). Marjorie will be greatly missed by nieces Karen Vannieuwenhuyze of Thamesville and Alison Paddon of England and many nieces, nephews and family in both Canada and England. Predeceased by her brothers Norman and Herbert Tench. Marjorie worked as a registered nurse with the Kent Public Health Unit. She will be remembered as the “Hat Lady" with a genuine care and concern for everyone, Her smile and contagious laughter will always be connected with fond memories. The family will receive friends and relatives Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 2-4 pm at BOWMAN FUNERAL HOME, 4 Victoria Ave (519-352-2390). A funeral service will take place Monday, September 28, 2015 at 11:00 am from Gregory Drive Alliance Church, (225 Gregory Drive West). Interment to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to The Gideons or the Chatham Kent Hospice.
