Obituary of Carol Anne Dorothy Bowman

Bowman: Carol Anne Dorothy (nee LeGros) – Born in Windsor, Ontario on June 29th, 1935, Carol Anne Dorothy Bowman peacefully passed, surrounded by family, on June 15th, 2016. Beloved wife and friend of Murray for 59 years. Loving mother of Linda Goldsmith (Doug), Jacqueline Massender (the late Donald), and Lee Ann Adam (Jeff). Proud grandmother of Chantelle, Kyle, Brett, Brittney, Kaila, and Quintin. Great grandmother of Alexis, Ella, and Maisie. Daughter of the late Rex and Dorothy LeGros of Blenheim. Sister of the late Beth Fisher (Merrill), the late Holly Clifford, the late Neil LeGros (Elaine), and John LeGros (Pam). Remembered by Steve Sadler, a long time family friend who was like a son to Carol. Carol exuded her creative, loving, generous and forgiving nature in all she pursued. A 30-year member of the May Court Club of Chatham, Carol was also actively involved with the Kinnettes of Blenheim and the Thames Arts Centre. She was a founding member of Studio 10 in Chatham. Friends and family will be received at DENNING’S OF CHATHAM, formerly The Murray Bowman Funeral Home, owned and operated by Murray and Carol, on Sunday from 1 to 5 pm, where the Funeral Service will take place on Monday at 11 am. Cremation to follow with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim at a later date. Following the Funeral Service, a reception will be held at Deer Run Golf Course, Blenheim.
