Bridget, Although we've never formally met - I feel as though I've come to know you through Michelle. It is with a heavy heart that I extend my condolences to you and your sons. I am both happy & relieved that Clem found love and had happiness & good times in what turned out to be the last years of his life.
Michelle, Brian (Jen) and Nicole, My heart aches for you because I know firsthand the pain & sadness of losing a Father and it's with that knowledge that I express my sincere sympathy and send my love to each one of you. I am so very sorry that your Dad's life was cut short. It is not fair. Clem's blessing was to bring 3 children in to the world and to bear witness to having three healthy, talented, beautiful grandchildren.
Clem was... well, he was Clem! One heckuva unique guy. A force to be reckoned with! A man whose big booming laughter & gravely voice filled a room. A presence like that no other! A gruff, opinionated, fiercely loyal, protective, strong man that spoke his mind! He was consistently: well, he was Clem. <3 He will be missed.
I am very sorry that Mesothelioma robbed you of having precious years and more time with him. Cancer sucks.
I am thankful, that in the final chapters of His life; he got the girl, knew that his kids were nearby and that forevermore Bridget, his 3 children and extended family will forever hold him near & dear in their hearts until they meet again.
