Obituary of Michael Bruce Furtah

Surrounded by family at London Health Sciences Centre-University Campus, on Monday, October 24, 2016, Michael Bruce Furtah, of West Lorne, peacefully passed away at the age of 58. Will be missed by his loving wife Theda Wilkes. Cherished father of Jesse Furtah (Jessica), Michael Furtah Jr. (Emily), David Furtah and Donna Furtah. Loving grandpa of Jaxon Furtah and Sam Tremblett. Survived by his brother Paul Furtah (Marilyn). Loving uncle of Lindsay and Marcus Furtah. Predeceased by his father, Morrie “Bud” Furtah and mother, Alice (nee Varley). Special thanks to the I.C.U. team at University Hospital for their compassionate care shown to Michael. In keeping with Mike’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 221, 142 John Street, West Lorne, on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 2-5 p.m. Donations in memory of Michael may be made to the London Health Sciences Foundation.
