I extend my condolences. I remember that Mike was the starting pitcher on July 4, 1972 when the Indians beat the Texas Rangers in Cleveland. It was a special day for me because I was only fourteen. It was my second Major League Baseball game. My Dad promised if I would complete some household work by cleaning the back porch, just he and I would go to the ballgame. It happened! Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mike was someone I looked up to during my early baseball years. Throwing balls in the school gym during winter and playing golf at the old golf haven. Mike was a fierce competitor. His name will b remembered by many.

Jon, Dawn, Ben, Liam, Maddie, Andrew and Ian, May you cherish the memories of a wonderful father and grandfather. Bet he is getting ready to play some baseball and golf up in heaven. When you hear the thunder think of him. He probably hit a homerun or perhaps got a hole in one and the crowds are cheering him on! He will always be with you.

My heart aches for Edie and family. Knowing Killer was one of life's greatest gifts. Talking to Killer was like taking an IQ test. Edie had the highest score.
There will never be another 10 minute golf lesson/philosophy seminar.

To my minor league and major league roommate of many years and great friend for over 50 years. We grew up together, succeeded together, failed together, and laughted together. Boy did we laugh together. Many of the greatest memories of my life are with Mike and he will be greatly missed. He was truly one of a kind.
I love you Buddy
