I had the opportunity to coach Al at St. Joe’s. Al was an excellent athlete and a very good team mate. His sincere, quiet demeanour was appreciated by all his coaches and teachers. While in the hospital, I visited him and we checked out some old yearbooks. He enjoyed renewing memories of his high school buddies!
My condolences to Cindy and the rest of the family.
