The end of a journey brings peaceful rest.
Our family sends condolences to all of you at this most difficult time. Dave was a man of true character and commitment as was witnessed by all who knew him. We had the pleasure of knowing Dave for several years, and he was always quick with a smile, and a joke and to welcome anyone whom he crossed paths with. He will be missed greatly to be sure, but I trust you will find comfort and contentment in a lifetime of memories built around a true family man.
May God Bless you all.
Much Love
The Pearcy's.

Our sincere condolences to Rosemary and family. We missed our visits and chatting about family, your Aunt Frances and all the cousin connections when you moved off of Farmington Ave. There was no one to help eat the extra tomatoes from the garden and share the lawnmower in times of need. When winter hit, it was Dave O helping Dave G snow blow out the driveway. Enjoyed the meals at the IOOF in Belmont where he ensured that my Dave got as many pieces of different pie as he wanted. He will be missed.
Sincerely,
Joanne & David Orton

Many wonderful memories. Dave & Rosemary lent us their car and camper for our honeymoon or we probably wouldn’t have had one since Don was still in school. A funny memory was when we were visiting at their home in Dorchester and Rosemary and I didn’t know where the men had gone. Turns out they both had taken their Ford Galaxy cars out for a little spin to see who had the best power. Don’ t remember the result. Lots of fun over the years - great Christmases in Belmont.

So many wonderful memories of Dave but of course my favourite was the day before Christmas and we had had a lot of rain. The basement was flooding fast!! First year ever putting the Christmas tree downstairs and luckily first artificial tree. I can’t remember why but I think Dave called the house and I was losing it fast! Within very few minutes he was at the house bringing tree and all the decorations still on it up the stairs. We were so grateful to him and never had a tree downstairs again. But did have lots of Christmas fun memories with all the Gobles over many many years. Our world will be a little less cheerful without this amazing man whom we all loved. Our hearts are with you all. Rosemary we are hurting for you as well as you and Dave shared a very special love remember he will always be in your hearts❤️❤️

My most lasting memory was probably the first time I formally met you Rosemary and David. It was in Halifax some years back. I’d arrived at the college campus for the church Convention and found I had left my purse in Wolfeville. Dave cheerfully offered to drive me back the hour trip to fetch it. Through your kindness and conversation, I came to know the two of you... a gift I cherish.

Dave was such a kind person and he will forever hold a special place in my heart. He loved to tell a joke or story, was always more than willing to lend a helping hand to someone, and never would complain and say "why me" but would say "why not me". And he and Rosemary were always the best dancers at the Christmas party. Dave's kindness touched so many lives while he was here and will not be forgotten. Wendy Francis
